Zhao Ke
Zhao Ke is a visiting scholar at the division of Resource Economics (Humboldt University of Berlin) and a PhD candidate in the college of Land management (Nanjing Agricultural University, P.R. China). His research mainly focuses on land resources, especially on land requisition and urban land markets in China. As to the Asia-link project, Zhao Ke would like to study the relevant theories of resource and environmental economics at Humboldt University of Berlin for the development of transition countries. He also likes to exchange the ideas and opinions with HU scholars and researchers from all over the world.

Tan Rong
Tan Rong has been a PhD candidate of Division of Resource Economics (Humboldt University of Berlin) since October 2006. His research mainly focuses on farmland conversion efficiency in China. Before he came to Berlin he was involved in the SEARUSYN project (South and East Asian Rural Urban Synergy). This was funded by the European Union under the INCO-DEV, by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences under the KNAW-MOST TRANSITO project (Transition of Rural Areas towards New Sustainable Institutions for Territorial Organization) and under the National 973 program of China.

Luong Vinh Quoc Duy
Luong Vinh Quoc Duy is a lecturer from the Faculty of Development Economics (University of Economics of Hochiminh City). He has an MA in Development Economics from the Vietnamese – Dutch Project for MA in Development Economics which is jointly operated by the Institute of Social Studies (The Netherlands) and the University of Economics of Hochiminh City. Furthermore, he has a BA in Planning and Investment from the University of Economics of Hochiminh City. He is a visiting scholar to the Division of Resource Economics at Humboldt University Berlin. This staff exchange is part of the Asia-Link RECREATE Project.
